Jenny and Neal Wedding | Hilton Double Tree, Chester

Jenny and Neal

Relaxed, fairylit Cheshire wedding at the Hilton Double Tree Chester.

Late September this year I headed over to Chester to capture some relaxed and candid, documentary style images of Jenny and Neal at their Cheshire wedding.

The champers and laughter was already flowing when I arrived as Jenny got ready at home with her five bridesmaids and of course page boy Leo into a beautiful fish tail gown with embroidered details and sparkly shoes. It was then time to head over to the Hilton Double Tree Chester accompanied by her brother Daniel in a white vintage Bentley.

Twinkles and smiles

Jenny’s pastel bouquet set off her silver, shimmering headpiece perfectly as she was met by an excited Neal at the end of the aisle.  The high ceilings festooned in fairy lights and raw brick walls made for a gorgeous setting for the vows and the staff at the Hilton went out of their way to make sure that Jenny and Neal’s day went without a hitch.

Ice cream under the navy blue bunting kept everybody happy after the ceremony (who doesn’t love ice cream?!) and there was just time in between rain showers to pop out for the all important confetti shot in front of the impressive grade II listed conservatory.

Although the weather didn’t give us its best that didn’t matter a jot as the interior of the Hilton with its striking chandeliers and sweeping staircase was a great backdrop for some lovely intimate portraits and of course those few moments together away from the crowds for newly married Jenny and Neal.

Speeches, dance moves and explosive surprises

I loved being at this wedding as you could really feel the love in the room. A world record breaking 1 hour 30 minute speech from best man Liam led us through to cake cutting and of course the first dance which was on point – great dancing guys! Then it was time for Neal and his boys to bust out some moves in a thrilling Thriller tribute (see what I did there!) which had the guests and Jenny tapping their feet in time and pulling out their best zombie arms.

Much to Jenny’s surprise she was then treated to sparklers and fireworks supplied by Illuminated.co who put on an amazing display then it was back onto the dancefloor to party the rest of the night away.

What a day! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it, I had a ball!

Adam.

Now, if you haven't had enough excitement looking through their images, take a look at my point of view from their day!
