Get your coat wife, we're off to Como!

That's sort of how it started, well sort of...

I met Victoria and Paul during another beautiful wedding at The Oak Tree of Peover in Knutsford last year. Victoria was one of Victoria's (the bride at this wedding) bridesmaids. We got chatting about their plans of a destination wedding in Italy and a few weeks later, I'm booked to shoot their wedding over in Lake Como, AMAZING! I was so thrilled. I had already been lucky enough to book two more destination weddings in Paphos and Santorini for 2017, Lake Como was always somewhere I would have loved to shoot so adding this to the year was perfect! Especially as Joanna (Wife/Boss) was coming along too.

COMO!

What a stunning day it was. I know Victoria and Paul had spent a long time organising their wedding day, not just your normal run of the mill wedding either. Destination weddings add a little more to the wedding planning, extra spreadsheets were a must! Organising flights, arranging accommodation, speaking with vendors in Italy. Just imagine how hard it was to choose your wedding day menu from 1,000 miles away back in England?! Anyway, all the hard work paid off in fantastic style. The wedding day was totally perfect! From a quick dip in the lake before breakfast for the boys, an eventful walk though the cobbled streets of Varenna to catch a boat for the girls, the outstanding humanist service at Villa del Balbianello perfectly executed by their close friend Gareth (One of my ex grooms may I add, Oak Tree of Peover, remember??) the infamous "chuck the veil in the lake shot", and to top it all off the most amazing dinner and after party back at Villa Cipressi. I wont even mention the fact that my wife and I ended up in our underwear, in the lake, at 2am with some of their guests.... Nope I'm not going to mention that... Wow Limoncello is powerful stuff!!
