Amy and Dan’s wedding at Delamere Manor was such a lovely day to photograph. Set in the Cheshire countryside, the venue gave the whole celebration a private and relaxed feel from the very beginning.

Their ceremony was full of emotion, with family and friends gathered together to share such an important moment. Amy and Dan were clearly enjoying every part of the day, which made it easy to capture photographs that felt natural and true to them. Add the introduction of Dougie as ring bearer and you couldn’t of asked for a more perfect ceremony for them both.

There was a brilliant atmosphere throughout the afternoon. Guests were able to relax and enjoy the surroundings while Amy and Dan spent time with the people closest to them. Rather than taking them away for long periods, we kept their portraits relaxed and worked around the flow of the day.

As a Cheshire wedding photographer, I always enjoy weddings that feel personal rather than overly staged. Amy and Dan’s celebration had exactly that quality. There were emotional moments, plenty of laughter and a real sense that everyone was simply enjoying being together. Delamere Manor suited their wedding perfectly. The house has a modern elegance to it, while the grounds give couples plenty of space for photographs without feeling too formal. It meant we could create a varied gallery while keeping everything comfortable and unforced. Thank you to Amy and Dan for trusting me to photograph their wedding.
