Wedding Celebrations at Home in Cheshire

It was a pleasure photographing Charlotte and Charles’ elegant wedding yesterday. The happy couple decided to hold their wedding day celebrations at their stunning Cheshire home with many of the closest friends and family. It’s always great and a huge honour to be involved in capturing such an spectacular wedding at home, it felt very special to be such a big part of Charlotte and Charles day, I’m already very excited to start editing their images and relive how much fun yesterday was!

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was photographing Charlotte getting ready at home. The details, the atmosphere, the smiles; bridal prep is abundant in moments which I love to be able to capture. A short walk down the road to St Marys Church followed to see Charles waiting at the alter with his boys while they anticipated the arrival of Charlotte and her bridesmaids.

Once all the bridal preparations had finished Charlotte arrived at the ceremony and took a deep breath as she made her way towards the alter to meet her soon to be new husband Charles. Friends and family looked on as Charlotte and Charles exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony at St Marys Church. I will always relish the opportunity to cover ceremonies like this in Cheshire and further afield.

Elegant Cheshire Wedding Photographer

Charlotte and Charles shared a few moments with their guests before heading home to the reception where drinks and canapés awaited. All the guests were cheerful and you could feel the joyful atmosphere as the sun finally showed its face. I enjoy drifting among the guests to take the best shots and witness the stories unfold as the hours go by.

This was a fantastic Summer wedding and we made sure we got some lovely portraits at the newly weds home, this being made easy as there was endless opportunities for stunning bridal portraits in and around the grounds. It was a cloudy day for some parts, making the light very soft, which really help with photographs.

The guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast as the speakers prepared to deliver their speeches. The speeches are a great part of the wedding and a joy to photograph as a wedding photographer. At the end of the day, Charlotte and Charles rocked the dance floor accompanied by their guests, courtesy of the amazing live band.

Charlotte and Charles wedding was one of the loveliest weddings I have photographed and I'm sure they will be really happy together.
