Brogan & Sean’s Wedding – St Michael’s Church & The Woodlands, Widnes

What an incredible day this was! Brogan and Sean’s wedding was one of those days that just incredible from start to finish, and I was so lucky to be there to capture it all.

The morning began with bridal prep at their family home, surrounded by close family and friends. It was such a lovely, relaxed start to the day — lots of laughter, a few happy tears, and those little in-between moments that really show just how much excitement there was in the room. You could tell right from the start how important family was to Brogan and Sean, and that theme carried through the entire day.

From there, we headed over to St Michael’s Church in Widnes for their ceremony. The church was such a beautiful backdrop as they exchanged their vows, and the atmosphere was full of emotion. Brogan and Sean had made the difficult decision to bring their wedding forward so that some much-loved family members could be part of the celebrations. Although that meant extra stress in the planning stages, standing there in the church surrounded by their loved ones made it all worth it — the ceremony couldn’t have been more perfect.

Afterwards, everyone made their way to The Woodlands in Widnes for the reception, and it was the perfect spot to continue the celebrations. The whole afternoon and evening were full of warmth, laughter, and plenty of happy tears. From heartfelt speeches that had everyone reaching for tissues, to the dance floor buzzing late into the night, the atmosphere was amazing. It honestly felt like one big family gathering — which is exactly what Brogan and Sean had hoped for.

The Woodlands Wedding Venue

This was my first time photographing a wedding at The Woodlands. Lee and all his staff were fantastic — so welcoming, organised, and attentive. They made sure everything ran smoothly, which gave Brogan and Sean the chance to just relax and enjoy their day surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
