The estate comprises of a grand sweeping driveway that leads you through luscious parkland and manicured gardens. There is an exquisite manor house and a serene lake, providing the perfect views when you’re saying ‘I do’ or to look over as you sip on a celebratory drink!”

Megan and Jay’s Autumn Wedding at Merrydale Manor, Cheshire

Who says you need a Saturday to throw an incredible wedding? Megan and Jay certainly proved otherwise with their early autumn celebration at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire! Despite being a midweek wedding, the atmosphere felt like a Saturday night from beginning to end. With fantastic entertainment planned throughout the day and a room full of guests ready to celebrate, this was always going to be a wedding to remember.

The morning began with Megan getting ready alongside her bridal party at Merrydale Manor, while Jay and his groomsmen made their final preparations just a short walk away. There was plenty of excitement building as everyone got ready for the ceremony. Surrounded by their family and friends, Megan and Jay exchanged their vows before heading off to enjoy the celebrations they had spent so long planning.

With the ceremony complete, the newlyweds were greeted by their guests as the afternoon reception got underway. Drinks were flowing, conversations were in full swing and there was already a real buzz around the venue. We also managed to find a little time to take Megan and Jay away for some couple portraits around the beautiful grounds of Merrydale Manor. I always like to keep these moments informal, giving couples a chance to enjoy a few minutes together before returning to the party. With the wedding breakfast approaching and an afternoon full of surprises still to come, there was certainly plenty for everyone to look forward to!

Merrydale Manor Wedding Photography

Merrydale Manor is always a fantastic venue to return to as a Cheshire wedding photographer. The grounds provide some beautiful backdrops for portraits, while the venue itself offers plenty of space for guests to enjoy the day. Following the ceremony, everyone gathered for drinks and canapés while I captured the atmosphere around the reception. We also managed to sneak Megan and Jay away for a few relaxed photographs together before they returned to their guests.

The wedding breakfast was another highlight, with some incredible food served before the entertainment really stepped up a gear. Just when everyone thought it was time to relax after their meal, the singing waiters got the whole room involved! The energy was fantastic, with guests joining in and enjoying every minute. And the entertainment certainly didn’t stop there. As the evening arrived, the celebrations continued with live saxophone, bongos and a band keeping the party going. It was one of those weddings where there seemed to be something happening every time I turned around, which made it an absolute pleasure to photograph.

For a midweek wedding, Megan and Jay certainly knew how to put on a party! A huge congratulations to you both. Thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding at Merrydale Manor. It was such an enjoyable day to be part of, and I can’t wait for you to see all the photographs.
