I absolutely loved capturing Chelsey and Sam's wedding day yesterday. The couple celebrated at Sandhole Oak Barn in Cheshire. I was ecstatic to photograph another wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn, it is a superb venue for any style of wedding and with the unbelievably beautiful grounds attached it makes the perfect wedding location. I’m already looking forward to more wedding photography here.

Chelsey was delighted that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate Sam. The wedding ceremony celebrated in the ceremony room at Sandhole Oak Barn was stunning, the photographs I took definitely have a rustic and winter wedding vibe to them which was exactly what the happy couple hoped for. It is truly an amazing job working as a wedding photographer here in Cheshire.

Chelsey and Sam interacted freely with their guests once we all arrived at the reception. The surroundings were wonderful and fun for all. I was still on the lookout to catch awesome candid moments on camera and with a table full of drinks and nibble’s greeting their guests as they arrived into the venue, this gave me a little more time to snap those special moments for the newly weds.

One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was capturing Chelsey and Sam in the grounds of Sandhole Oak Barn during their wedding day portraits. I tend to keep my couples portraits as natural and relaxed as possible so a short walk around the grounds of Sandhole was perfect, we had a little moment together where the newly weds could chat about their morning before returning to their guests and enjoying the rest of the day. A little longer would have been great but with the wonderful British weather playing games with us, the rain kept this time very short.

All the guests were keen not to miss the beautiful food provided by the staff at Sandhole Oak Barn. The amazing atmosphere that this stunning wedding venue provided was a perfect setting for the wedding breakfast, served in the beautifully rustic but still elegant barn dressed perfectly. The whole process was more of an experience for everyone involved than just a traditional wedding breakfast.

The night ended with guests crowding round the dance floor to watch Chelsey and Sam enjoying their first dance together and a stunning set by their sax player.
