Leah and Ryan’s Wedding at Rowton Hall, Chester

What a brilliant day celebrating Leah and Ryan’s wedding at Rowton Hall in Chester. I was there to capture the photography while my assistant took care of the wedding film, meaning we could document the day from both sides without getting in the way of the celebrations.

Leah and Ryan chose to hold their ceremony in Rowton Hall’s beautiful orangery. With its huge windows and abundance of natural light, it was a fantastic setting to watch them exchange their vows surrounded by family and friends. And of course, their two-year-old son Cole had an important part to play in the day too! He was an absolute star and seemingly had a smile on his face every time we pointed a camera in his direction.

After the ceremony, everyone could relax and enjoy the reception while we concentrated on capturing the day as it happened. Thankfully, the Chester weather was kind to us and the rain stayed away. It gave us plenty of opportunity to head outside and make use of the grounds around Rowton Hall for Leah and Ryan’s portraits.

We kept things relaxed and didn’t take them away from their guests for too long. The grounds gave us plenty of different options, and it was also a nice chance for the newlyweds to have a few quieter moments together before heading back to the celebrations.

Rowton Hall is a lovely Chester wedding venue to photograph, particularly with the orangery and gardens giving us so much to work with throughout the day. It was a pleasure capturing both the photographs and film for Leah and Ryan and creating something they can look back on with Cole for many years to come.
