It was such a pleasure to be back at Statham Lodge in Lymm to photograph Niamh and James’ wedding day. It’s a venue I’ve visited many times over the years, and it was brilliant to return for another fantastic Cheshire wedding.

Niamh and James chose Statham Lodge for both their ceremony and celebrations, which meant everything could take place in one location and the day had a really relaxed flow from start to finish. Their ceremony was centred around the two of them and their families, with plenty of lovely moments to capture as everyone came together to watch them get married.

After the ceremony, we made the most of the grounds around Statham Lodge for photographs while their guests enjoyed the afternoon. I always enjoy this part of a wedding day — capturing the newlyweds together, getting the family photographs done without taking over the day, and keeping an eye out for all those little moments happening naturally between guests.

As the afternoon moved into the evening, the celebrations continued inside Statham Lodge. The whole day had a genuinely lovely atmosphere and it was clear how much Niamh and James’ friends and family enjoyed being there to celebrate with them.

A massive thank you to Niamh and James for choosing me to photograph such an important day. I hope you both had the best time and enjoy looking back through the photographs for many years to come.

Statham Lodge Wedding Photography in Lymm, Cheshire

Statham Lodge is a wedding venue I know extremely well, having photographed many weddings here over the years. Set in Lymm, Cheshire, it offers couples the convenience of having their entire wedding day in one place, from getting ready and the ceremony through to the wedding breakfast and evening reception.

One of the things I particularly enjoy about photographing weddings at Statham Lodge is how easy it is to move between the different parts of the day. There are plenty of opportunities around the venue and grounds for couple portraits and group photographs, while still allowing everyone to spend as much time as possible enjoying the wedding rather than disappearing for photographs for hours.

Knowing a venue well also makes a huge difference as a wedding photographer. I know the areas that work particularly well for photographs, where the light tends to be best at different points in the day and where we can quickly head for portraits without pulling the couple away from their guests for too long.

Another huge thank you has to go to the entire team at Statham Lodge. I’ve worked alongside them on many occasions and they’re always incredibly welcoming. The team keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, allowing the couple to simply enjoy their day without worrying about what needs to happen next.

Thank you again for looking after Niamh and James, their family and friends, and for always making me feel so welcome whenever I’m back photographing a wedding at Statham Lodge.
